INRI
Satiric representations of the most sacred icons in Christendom is pretty much par for the course for Bettina Rheims and Serge Bramly. The latter, a French writer, philosopher and photographer, collaborated with the German conceptual artist Rheims on this provocative exhibition at Prague’s largest Old Town gallery space, the Rudolfinum. Though the Czech Philharmonic is also based in this jewel of a building, INRI is stealing the limelight for now with crucified women, wisemen sendups and guerilla apostles.
